Everyone is invited and welcome to share their original works and favorite pieces, or just to listen to others. They are generally held on the third Thursday of each month from noon-1 p.m. in the Hinckley Library Amphitheater.=0D=0AThe Stothart Readings are named for Rob Stothart, a former associate professor of English at ×îÐÂÈý¼¶Æ¬ College who helped launch the NWC Writers Series and contributes regularly to the readings. Each month, an open mic is set up for college and community participants to read their original writing or offer their interpretation of a favorite author.=0D=0AOver the years, poetry, essays, excerpts from favorite pieces of literature and more have been shared by readers from age 8 to 80. The list of participants includes nationally published authors, school children, community members, aspiring poets, NWC students, staff and faculty and many more. Stothart Reading participants can add their names to a sign-up sheet immediately before the reading starts or just wait and take the podium after the scheduled readers are finished.=0D=0AThose who enjoy listening more than sharing are equally welcome. Food is allowed in the library amphitheater for those who want to make their lunch a literary one. SUMMARY;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Stothart Reading PRIORITY:1 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
