NWC Associate Professor of Photography Anthony Polvere joined the group, and the presentation will prominently feature his photography. A sampling of popular Cambodian and Thai treats will be available.

  • Thursday, November 21, 7 p.m., Exploring the Beauty of Latin America: A Celebration of Diversity (Harriet Bloom-Wilson Intercultural House)

Embark on a journey through Latin America with our NWC Fulbright Spanish Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) from Argentina, Jorge Aponte, along with the NWC Spanish Club where we will explore the great variety of landscapes, nature, culture, traditions, and attractions that Latin America has to offer. A sample of authentic Latin American snacks will be served.

A selection of traditional German snacks will be served.

International Education Week celebrates the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. The joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of an effort to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.
